Most amateurs in the “health” world think it’s quite simple to eat healthy, and if there were fresh produce markets lining the streets of America, that might be true. Unfortunately, that’s not the case, especially when it comes to urban life. Most of the “convenient” food in America is genetically modified, processed, and loaded with chemical additives and preservatives that extend the products’ shelf life, while shortening human life. That being said, there are several pitfalls that can turn even the healthiest food and beverage choices into health nightmares.
You see, it could be simple, if everyone just ate organic produce, nuts, seeds and berries. Ideally, you would want to eat about 70 percent or more of those foods raw and untainted. Unadulterated. Not modified or processed. Still, there are 101 ways to do “healthy” wrong, so we’re going to expose the 10 most common methods for ruining what could be a healthy meal, snack or beverage, by “doing it the American way.”
Did you know that microwave ovens work by agitating the water molecules in such a violent way that the nutrition in the food is destroyed? There’s no faster way to turn healthy food into warped “food stuff” that’s void of nutrition than by nuking it. Remember, when there’s a microwave oven running, you should be too.
People use tap water in America for almost everything, including when making coffee, tea, powder mix beverages, soups, smoothies, ice cubes and for boiling vegetables. Most municipal tap water in this country contains carcinogenic chemicals that cause cancer, lowered IQ, brittle bones and chronic inflammation. This includes sodium fluoride, chlorine and heavy metal toxins like lead and aluminum. Plus, tap water typically contains pathogens, other people’s prescription medications, and tiny bits of toilet paper. Tap water can turn a healthy meal or drink “dirty” in just seconds. Use spring water or buy an affordable Big Berkey home water filtration system which filters out 99.9 percent of all the toxins listed above. Berkey pays for itself compared to six months of buying bottled water for your family!
Never get toxic table salt confused with healthy sea salt. Huge difference. Typical table salt like you get at most restaurants is processed, iodized and radiated to remove all minerals and cause inflammation and high blood pressure. Most consumers don’t realize that the polar opposite of table salt is sea salt (think pink Himalayan or Dead Sea salt) that contains nearly all the minerals your body wants and needs, and none of the bad stuff that all those quack MDs warn their patients about. Table salt can turn a healthy meal into body pollution. There is a big difference.
Most consumers think if they avoid sugar, then whatever they eat is healthy. This goes for diet soda, processed microwave meals, and those little packets of poison people rip and drip into their coffee and tea. Fake sugars are leading causes of cancer, irritable bowels and anxiety (think aspartame and sucralose here).
Chemicals from charcoal and lighter fluid seep into food that’s grilled and barbecued. Even if you buy organic meat, it’s getting ruined by toxic chemicals and turning carcinogenic when blackened and charred. Watch out.
Just because you’re eating a salad doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Plenty of conventional greens have soaked up cancer-causing glyphosate weed killer. Then, by coating your salad with GMO oils from canola, corn or soybeans, you’re turning a not-so-healthy salad into a health nightmare. Nowadays, even most organic dressings are loaded with blood-clogging, memory-deleting canola oil. Check the labels. Plus, think of where most oils come from — GM soybeans, corn and canola. On top of that, most commercial crops sold in America are genetically modified and sprayed with carcinogenic glyphosate weed killer that murders live food nutrition.
Cooking your organic veggies at high heat and for too long destroys the nutritional value. Whether you like to deep fry, pan fry, bake, broil, boil, nuke or grill, try to limit how often you do it, and go for mostly raw, organic and local produce. Happy eating. Check out dehydrating vegetables for fun, healthy snacking too.
Most fruit is already sweet, and that’s the good kind of sugar that’s connected to fiber that your body knows how to digest and process well. Avoid adding sweeteners to your smoothies and let your taste buds return to “normal.” You’ll be surprised how good everything really tastes when you drop all that unnecessary “super sweetness.”
Drop the eggs and dairy when you’re preparing or buying healthy meals and you’ll notice a huge difference in how you feel. You’ll have more energy and more productive bowel movements. There are plenty of healthy vegan choices for dressings and plant-based cheeses out there these days, even if you’re not vegan.
Gluten is “food glue” that causes constipation, even if it’s organic. Remember this: Even if you eat organic meals, if you can’t expel them inside of 24 hours, they become toxic inside your intestines.
Realize that most commercial crops in America are genetically modified and processed, unless it says “USDA Certified Organic” or “Project Verified Non-GMO.” More than 90 percent of all our corn, soy and canola has genes of pesticides woven into the plant DNA. Eat it every day and you almost guarantee yourself cancer sooner or later.
Most local farmers don’t spray tons of pounds of chemical insecticide on their crops, but it’s always polite and safe to ask them questions when you see them, before you buy all that “fresh” and “family owned and operated” produce.
Tune your internet dial to FoodSupply.news for updates on how the organic food industry continues to expand as consumers ditch the toxic-conventional-junk-science-lab-concocted-pesticide-laden American cancer-food, because it’s got twisted genes. Don’t let biotech “murder” your food supply with deadly chemicals and poison genes.
